Uncle managed to break Rache, my Socom II, at the range just by picking her up. (She had numerous FTFs for him and then me, but that all straightened out after I looked at her angrily. Definitely needs a good cleaning, though. She’s had about 200 rounds through her now but has yet to take a bath. Shame on me for treating her so shabbily.)

Be sure to de-bed her periodically and clean out the gas piston… Not really sure how often (there are debates raging across the interwebs about it), but given that this is not exactly a glass-bedded long-range sniper platform, just be careful, and do not do it too often.
