The ammo may be sold

But I’m extending the trivia question in this post until Friday morning.

So far, no one has gotten even close.

I’ll try to get a better pic to help y’all out.

    Is it that ammo from the late 80s or early 90s where the projectile is essentially just a cylinder of copper or brass with a plastic cap for feeding and firing (sort of an internal sabot) that is intended for very short range use? I have seen .38 Special examples, but never .45 ACP.

    It’s a primer stuck in a hollow point.

    1970’s vintage “Exploder” ammo.

    Not very effective.

    I’m late but guessing a variation on a mag-safe round as opposed to a glaser which looks completely different with the blue or silver plastic ball in the tip.
