That there, boys & girls, is an XP-100 chambered in 12.9×50.8 JDJ. “JDJ” is for “J.D.Jones,” father of much big-bore insanity. 600 grain .510-caliber bullet at 1600+ fps from that short barrel…. ow.
I saw a write-up of a revolver chambered for 600 Nitro Express. As I recall, it was made in Austria.

I seem to recall that the write-up mentioned that the recoil was ‘controllable’. One got the impression that the writer wanted to add barely to that word…..

Good lord. I think I would want to add all manner of padding all over anything on that firearm that might kick up and land on my forehead.
I have a picture of a .50BMG caliber pistol. IIRC it has a 14 inch barrel.
