Dowdification of self

It was disappointing because I didn’t think John McCain would ever be as dismissive of the First Amendment as Dick Cheney.

Maureen Dowd

McCain’s capaign staffers gave her the boot from the press plane, and now she’s all weepy about it.

I notice that she has yet to write a single word about the Obama “Truth Squads”, whose entire reason for being is to squelch the free speech of ordinary citizens. Frankly, I think the world could do with one less pro-Obama media harpy.

  1. Charlie Black says:

I notice that she has yet to write a single word about the Obama “Truth Squads”

    boo-freakin’-hoo!

  2. emdfl says:

Too bad they didn’t wait until the plane was wheels up.

  3. anonymous says:

Truth squads or not, McCain was a co-sponsor of McCain-Feingold. He supported raping the First Amendment. And he is not repentant. There is no living that down. It’s a done deal supported by the Supreme Court. His actions damn him.

  4. Phil says:

His actions will forever damn him, but he is a sight better than strangling the world with the Obamessiah.

And this wasn’t about McC-F, this was a pretentious media twit stating that her freedom of speech was quashed because she couldn’t ride on his plane.

And because Chuck is so adult in his dismissal of Those Who Spread Obamatruth: Charlie Black eats dicks.
