It would be better for gun owners than McCain-Romney. Unless, of course, McCain-Romney is a winning ticket and the below is a losing one. Rumors here and here. Note that being listed as a speaker at the convention MAY indicate that you’re not a VP pick, because if you are then they’d have to find somebody else to speak in your slot. I’ve never thought that was a particularly potent tea leaf to read, but some do.
