sounds like something we’ll be using here frequently over the next few months. Every time he just can’t keep himself from saying that one last thing that goes a bit too far.
Like “My ancestors came up from the coal mines of Pennsylvania.” (1987, plagiarizing Neil Kinnock’s speech.) OH JOE BIDEN NO.
Or, “I think I have a much higher I.Q. than you do” followed by a string of falsehoods inflating his academic credentials. OH JOE BIDEN NO.

You can’t trust a man who Frenches his cuffs….
This choice has pissed off liberals (FORMER Obama supporters) all up and down the Willamette Valley.
1. cheesed off the lib-geeks by FAILING to have them “first-to-know” with the texting.
2. Broke EVERY rule in the book about announcing important events.
3. Might as well have picked Edwards. Biden is a confirmed cheater on most things.
4. Biden is VERY cozy with bankers, got a “special” house deal (same as Obama).
5. Feigns being a liberal, is lib only on anti-war stuff, is bought-and-paid-for on everything else.
6. Delivers NOTHING (zero, zip, nada, rien, bupkis) to Obama that he didn’t already have.
In short, this guy has EVERY reason to NOT have been chosen, and NO reason to have been. Logic says he’s temporary, and by that, I mean less than a week. He’s going to announce he’s quitting the ticket at the convention, and GUESS WHO will be put on the ticket by “acclamation”?
Hint, she’s got thunder thighs, wears pantsuits, and has an annoying meglo for a hubby.

Biden’s wife was my English teacher in high school several years ago (I grew up in Delaware). She’s a sweet woman and was an extremely good teacher, would it be wrong to say she deserves better?
I wouldn’t say she deserves better; from all accounts Biden’s a fine family man, especially with his personal history. He was a fixture on the commuter train from D.C. back to Delaware every night to be with his kids. I don’t think any other Senator has done that.
The only thing he gets Obama is an articulate, committed attack dog, and that’s something Obama needs.
I’m just relieved it isn’t Hillary. We’ll see if Rivrdog’s prediction comes true — I doubt it, but we’ll see….
