Don’t the media creeps know that if you ignore these people that they’ll go away?
Racist website visitors increase
Sen. Barack Obama’s historic victory in the Democratic primaries, celebrated as a symbol of racial progress and cultural unity, has also sparked an increase in racist and white-supremacist activity, mainly on the Internet, according to leaders of hate groups and the organizations that track them.
First of all, if the media were to come to me asking if the election season was making the hits at RNS go up, I’d say yes just to piss them off.
I actually have no idea how many folks come here daily and don’t really care one way or the other. I’m glad you stop by and all, but I’m not doing this for $$$ and I don’t do it for popularity. You’ll notice, there is no hit counter here. I routinely, and usually accidentally, piss off about 10% of the readership about every three months and they never come back. Another 10% trickle in to replace them. It’s been that way since 2003, when we did have tracking software. I guestimate it is still the same by who comments.
The people who run those “Seik Help” type sites see media people coming a mile away and love to scare them by telling them that they’re exploding in membership, web hits, IQ points, etc. because it makes stories like this hit the papers.
If nothing else, they’re good at getting free publicity.
Secondly, the “organizations that track them” have absolutely no access to the numbers of hits on the asshole’s sites and can only get them from stories like this. So the SPLC type crackheads can smoke a fat wang on their statistics quoting on this.
They’re too ignorant to see that they are actually helping perpetuate the idea that the racist (bowel) movement is growing, thereby helping the groups recruit.
It is a vicious circle that begins by both parties putting their heads up their asses.
