I tried to read this article about the newest boutique network to hit cable
The network execs say that it won’t be preachy, self-righteous or make you ride the guilt train to hell.
And so the AP reporter repeated these claims, and after hearing about their format, I thought they might be actually telling a little bit of truth.
Until, when the reporter was writing about some of the new shows being “star-oriented” and typed up today’s quote

The “big show†on the network will feature Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and rapper Ludacris trying to out green one another. While that may be funny, the rest of their shows look to be a bunch of momentarily green, self-absorbed types telling folks how they should live.
Frankly, I can turn on any channel and see that crap.
Doubly frankly, if it wasn’t for the wife, I probably wouldn’t have cable.
And to think, I pay Comcrap a princely sum to bring this crap into my home…well, not for much longer, I hope.
