One of the most pressing legal issues of our time

Yes, Heller. Though not in this post.

If you don’t recognize the name Srebrencia, then click this link and read about how Dutch troops wearing “UN Blue” were made to wait idly by because of United Nations incompetence while a genocidal massacre of 8000 men and boys took place in one day in Bosnia in 1995.

If your keyboard and monitor still work after that, click this link and read about how the women who survived have filed suit against the UN for failing to give the Dutch troops clearance to stop the murder.

And just tie this post into the 2008 Presidential election a bit: The man who ordered that the Bosnian Serb army roll their troop trucks into Srebrenia, pack the trucks with every male older than ten years of age residing in the town, drive them to the town’s football field and line them up and shoot them was General Ratko Mladic.

That his him, center left, wearing the vest and the hat with three stars on it. That hat actually belongs to the guy standing to the right of him, General Wesley Clark.

The same Wesley Clark who broke Posse Comitatus by signing over tanks belonging to the 1st Cavalry Division of the US Army to Janet Reno and the FBI/ATF officials during the siege at Waco.

And the very same Wesley Clark who is said to be on the Top 5 list of names for Obama’s Veep. Which is why he went after McCain as he did over the weekend. Needs to try and get that #1 spot, you see.

Have a nice day.

You know, I actually didn’t know that stuff about Gen. Clark, and up until about 10 seconds ago thought he was a decent sort of fellow.

It’s amazing what a little information can do to a guy’s perceptions.

Ahab, Gen. “Weasely” Clark has been a Clintonista, bought and paid for, ever since he was a Colonel.

There are a number of them running around spouting (D)onk talking points. Around here, we have Gen. Merrill “Tony” McPeak, former Clinton USAF Chief of Staff, who does the same lefty dances.

Both of these Generals have forgotten their duty as General Officers in Retirement, which is to act as role models for the professionalism of service that up-and-coming offers need to emulate.

It is ONLY appropriate for a military man who achieves that rank and position to advocate for a modern, professional military force capable of acting only under TOTAL CIVILIAN CONTROL ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION. When Generals such as “Weasely” Clark or “Fop” McPeak start acting as political shills, they are out of place, and it is then the duty of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to remind them of their place.

General Officers, you see, never really retire. They can be recalled to active duty until they die, and must follow military orders and protocol forever. That is the burden they accept when they accept their stars.

This post rules on so many different levels. I had NO idea of Clark’s association with General Ratko Mladic.

    That is creepy. Very… creepy.
