Introducing the Toyota/Scion Hako

For being mite-sized cars, I liked the original xB well enough (and the xA and Yaris even more). But this is one I can’t wait to see on showroom floors in the next couple years if Toyota lets Scion produce it.

For any Toyota design/management folks out there who may be reading (or others whom I wrote to last night), it is just this simple…

Make just two versions: One very basic and one sports edition. The basic edition gets a radio and a heater and a 1.3 liter that’ll get close to 40mpg marketed towards commuters.

The sportier edition gets the 2.0 liter mill and a kick ass exhaust. Make sure you mate it to a decent manual transmission.

This edition also comes with three different extra paint schemes: Matte Reddish-Brown, Matte Gray and Matte Black.

Also include two special wheel packages: One baby moon style and one full moon style.

Lastly, move the side mirrors to the top of A-Pillar.

Make 100,000 of them and get them over here ASAP for under 18K. I might even realistically be able to take one of each.

It looks like a Kitchenaid toaster. Does it come in a 12 cylinder?
