What was that

About Global Warming? (cricketts)

Joe has a the trials and tribulations of his wife’s trip across Washington’s I-90 mountain pass at Snoqualmie. Picture five hours in white out conditions waiting for the plows to clear an avalanche.

I particularly want to point this one out of his trip across just prior to hers.

I drove through here with David on our way back from Boomershoot last year and removing the snow only gives textures from the plowed rows. (David, this was about 10 minutes before our second pitstop).

The Seattle Times has this story about the white fluffy stuff that talks about how this is keeping people from their destinations.

This line is key

Nearby, Casey Graham, 50, drove a large grader up and down the road, pushing aside several feet of snow.

Graham, who has worked for WSDOT for 20 years, said it’s the worst snow he’s ever seen at the pass. He started work at 6:30 a.m., his second straight day with a 12-hour shift. But he was in good spirits.

At $60+ an hour to push snow, I’d be in good spirits too.

And what is up with those crickets?
