What are they getting at?

There has been a whole lotta hoopla over on the leftosphere about the lack of pat down searches at Obama events.

So much so that their pals in the MSM have taken notice.

The only reason I can think of as to why is that they’ve bought into the idea of Obama’s martyrdom, which a few weeks ago they were pooh-poohing to high heaven.

Obama made a stink when they tried to stick him with Secret Service protection last summer, only giving in when his Pastor said he should. I wouldn’t put it past him to tell the guys protecting him to not treat his supporters like would-be assasins.

I also wouldn’t put it past him to keep mum about this to try and create sideline hype about his campaign.

But again, why all the hype from the leftosphere? Are they going start Troofing out and trying to blame this on the Bush Administration?

Total drama queens, I swear.

Speaking of their drama queeneeness, the “Democratic Party” are acting like little bitches now that Nader has officially tossed his hat in the ring.

Democrats say they will work behind the scenes — and use court challenges, if necessary — to try to thwart his access to ballots.

The immediate question for Democrats is whether they’ll be as ruthless as they were in 2004 in throwing procedural obstacles in the way of Nader’s access to the ballot in key states.

Nader has a pending lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee on the issue and recently told Politico that he would make ballot access a central cause of a presidential campaign, which he restated on television Sunday morning.

Just remember this the next time some chucklehead tries to tell you the their party is the only one which “stands up for democracy”.

The body count for folks involved in or in the way of the Clintons is rather high.

I suspect the Secret Service know exactly what they are doing.

The point about Nader and the dynamic he creates as a 3rd party candidate in the general election for the democrats has been made by many others, so I take no credit for it, but it does bear repeating.

First, the history. Election 2000 was decided by a margin of less than 1000 votes nation wide, with Nader culling about 2-3% of the total vote count. Election 2004 was decided by a gap of fewer than 10,000 votes. There is every reason to believe that election 2008 will be the same. Were it not for Nader, it would have been President Gore in 2000. Kerry was too weak a candidate in 2004, especially in war time. 2008 is a different story.

Despite what the MSM and the DNC would have anyone believe, *every* vote Nader manages to get will be a vote that would have been cast for the democratic nominee, and this fact represents a huge problem for them, to the point of almost assuring a win for McCain, if the numbers from the past are anything to go by. A difference of upwards of 50,000 votes to win the election will be easily eaten up by votes for Nader, which would assure the defeat of either Hillary or Obama.

Perhaps Nader is the one who needs the services of the SS.
