More violent gun bigots

We’ve all discussed it, and the gunnie community is pretty much in agreement on the current theory that gun bigots want everyone disarmed is that they believe we are as mentally out of control of our emotions as they are.

Yet another example: The Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin

No one can accuse New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin of hiding his emotions. During a live TV interview, he told two reporters that he wanted to have “a good one on one” with their boss in the parking lot because of an upcoming report on his work schedule.

Nagin also complained about the “vile, angry people” who comment on blogs. Asked if he’s worried about his safety, the mayor said: “If somebody approach me wrong, I’m going to cold cock them. That’s the bottom line. You can come with that foolishness if you want, but you’ll see a side of Ray Nagin that you haven’t seen.”

Even if I believed that I had a city full of people as out of control, in more ways than one, as myself, i still wouldn’t have ordered their firearms to be taken away.

And making me seem like the reasonable one makes him look like his projection problems are very, very deep.
