RNS Quote of the Day:01/30/08

Found, surprisingly, in the Seattle Times’ Letters to the Editor section over the weekend

The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.

Winston Churchill

And after last night’s results from Florida, I do have to ask if Floridians are getting to much fucking sun.

I think they’re brains are cooked. To the point of charring.

Hillary wins for the Dem. McCain for the Repubs.

  1. Kurt P says:

Something I haven’t heard (or seen) lately is the fact that A LOT of NY libs are down there with retirement homes. And they probably voted in more than one state- just like in 2000.

  2. Nolan says:

Hell, half of Florida is populated with people McCain’s age. They can’t NOT vote for him. The only people left in Arizona that even like the guy are all the snowbirds we get from the Northern states.

  3. Glenn M. Cassel, AMH1(AW), USN, RETIRED says:

Well, Churchill was smarter than the entire American Left Wing.
