No It’s Not the Cover of the New Robert Ludlum Novel

…It’s my Daily Carry stuff.

This thread on the FAL Files Forums asked, “what’s in your pockets RIGHT NOW?” Luckily I answered during work hours. Some respondents professed to be surfing the ‘net in the dark of night, nude….

As a kid I loved the Ludlum and Forsyth paperback cover illustrations from the 1970s and ’80s. The typical layout elegantly conveyed international intrigue with a few chosen totems: a weapon of some sort, a scattering of exotic cash, and a passport or other document.

Really, this is about all you can carry in the pockets of dress slacks without starting to look rather odd. I can tuck my keys and Mo-Gem into my right pocket without difficulty, but if I put ’em in my left the bulge looks silly.

Don’t know what a Mo-Gem is? More about that tomorrow….
