Hey breeders. It’s all your fault!

Childbearing [should be] a punishable crime against society, unless the parents hold a government license…. All potential parents [should be] required to use contraceptive chemicals, the government issuing antidotes to citizens chosen for childbearing.

David Brower - Founder : Sierra Club and Friends of the Earth

The right to have children should be a marketable commodity, bought and traded by individuals but absolutely limited by the state.

Kenneth E. Boulding – Originator of the “Spaceship Earth” concept

And yet, I have no doubt that either of these guys, if they were alive today, would have any problems with Bush’s Amnesty Plan.

I’ll also keep my eyes open locally for this nitwit, to see if she write about the poor wittle illegals needing to be made legal with no questions asked. From yesterday’s Seattle Times “Letters to the Editor” section.

Whenever The Times runs a story like “Readers take big, small steps for Earth’s sake“, the focus is on the efforts of a family that has at least two kids, but no mention is made that the primary cause of all environmental problems, not just greenhouse emissions, is too many people.

Families that have more than one child are part of the problem. In future articles, I’d like a Times writer to tell us how much one’s potential carbon footprint is reduced by not reproducing yourself. The government could create incentives with tax reductions for the childless. That’s a global-warming-reduction plan I’d like to see!

Makes me sad I stopped at two. Had I known this twit felt that way, I’d have had Dr. Snips hold off until I had 23 crumbsnatchers running around.

The problem is that some of the most useless people in our society are the ones that are having whole litters of children that end up being everyone else’s responsibility.

Yep, the People’s Republic of China -beacon of civilization and enlightenment to the world- tried the one-child-only policy. And guess what it lead to: government-enforced abortions and sterilization, as well as an increase in female infanticide, as well as orphaned children. I guess the liberals have no problem with the government-enforced abortions and sterilization; after all, liberals do support abortion for a woman’s right to choose how many kids she can have, as long as it’s the government-mandated one. And while I doubt think our rates of infanticide would go up because of all the Baby Moses-type laws passed throughout the United States, if the US were to pass some kind of one-child-only law, we’d definately see more orphaned children being dropped off at fire stations and hosptials because the parents don’t want to be arrested for wasting resources by raising two kids.
And in the meantime, the anchor baby immigration policy will still be in effect. That’s only one “American” child you can have; the 2-3 you brought with you when you crossed the border don’t count.

Actually, this is exactly the type of behavior that I want to see come from these cretins.

The more they do it, the better, since it shows these people for who they really are – busybodies who will do anything and everything to control other people’s lives and bend the world according to their perceptions and will.

This is, of course, the exact definition of tyranny, and most people can see it for what it is. Those who are attempting it, like Al Gore, are very sneeky and deceptive in their tactics, yet there will always be enough clear-thinking people, that if ever the line towards tyranny gets crossed, we will be able to turn the tables on them.

    Keep your powder dry.
