The wife was looking around for some accessories to go with her 1963 Counrty Sedan wagon and while this didn’t get selected, she made sure to point it out to me.
It looks to be an old Rosco revolver that someone wisely converted to use as a shifter top.
I saw wisely because I would only give a Rosco revolver to someone I knew was going to try and shoot me in the near future. They stood as good a chance of the thing blowing up in their hand as they did it actually working. The vast majority of them are pre-68 guns, so no serial number to worry about.
If a gun is going to be taken off the streets, I prefer it to be a notoriously unsafe one and to have it put to good use. This works for me. I’m also noticing that the current bid price of just over $140 is around $135 more than most would give you for the thing if it was still working.
Now, to see if the guy who owns that roadster is selling the car as well.
