Wednesday Happy Gun Links

We’ll start with the best gun post I’ve read in a while.

From Jim at Smoke on the Water comes the tale of his decidedly non-gun bigoted employer and how they helped get 10 new concealed pistol licensed Texans instructed for the test, with pictures!

Congrats Jim and thanks for the post!

If my employer wasn’t gun-hating yutz, we’d be doing the AR builds I spoke of on Monday in the drivers area on a weekend. Holds about 100 people rather comfortably and has a kitchen.

Next up, and also bringing much happiness, John the Poor Schmuck reports that the Oregon Supreme Court has reinstated the human right of self-defense without mandating a person attempt to “avoid or escape” prior to the act of defense.

Expect the usual “Wild West” quotes to exit the mouths of the state’s Brady afilliates any day now.

——————–

Lastly, and also bringing big smiles, Uncle relays the report of Armalite Inc. President, Mark Westrom, making a gun bigot politician look absolutely foolish in the middle of the bigot’s press conference by pointing out one very big lie.

Akward doesn’t even begin to define the words going through State Senator Dan Kotowski’s head after Westrom stood up.

——————–

OK, this should be enough happiness to get you through the rest of the week. Though if I find more I’ll be sure to pass it on!

I’d be happier if I could be sure these moments would make it into the evening news. At least there is hope some minds were changed among the people who witnessed this.
