It must be nice

Being able to determine the term of negotiation.

One of the tenets of leftist mantra is “Negotiation” and “Talking It Out” and Compromise”. You will hear them speak to this nearly every single time they open their mouths.

Except when it involves them “Compromising” on something, like the gun bigots in Littleton, CO who are fighting against the installation of a statue dedicated to Navy Cross awardee, Petty Officer Daniel Dietz because it pictures him holding an M-16A3

Emily Cassidy. Gun Bigot:

“There’s no middle ground here, and that’s unfortunate,” said Emily Cassidy, one of a handful of Littleton parents who say the statue with the gun should not be near three schools and two playgrounds at the southeast corner of South Lowell Boulevard and West Berry Avenue.

“We’re continuing to try to spread our message,” Cassidy said. “The message is not against Danny Dietz, his family or the war. It’s location, location and the audience that will view it.”

They are demanding that either the gun be removed from the already completed bronze statue or it not be dedicated. No compromise. No negotiating.

This is from the same crowd of fuzzy-headed mommies in tennis shoes who think that “Toy Story” is the best possible entertainment for their children. “Toy Story”, of course, features the character Sheriff Woody, who wears a star, and has a gunbelt WITH NO GUN IN THE HOLSTER!

    feh!
