I’m not much of a farmer, myself, although I come from a long line of ’em on one side of my family. So I’m not sure how serious a threat this might be. Note that the article claims Homeland Security thinks it is.
I’ve resisted storing wheat, mainly because I can’t see myself rotating it into our regular food consumption, so it would likely just rot. Maybe that needs rethinking. It probably wouldn’t be too hard to start eating a bowl of cracked wheat for breakfast every morning. That’s assuming it tastes good….
