The late Don Thompson always had a way with words:
Some people will whine over anything: Dave Barry recently wrote a hilarious column about men who lament that they were subjected to an operation immediately after they were born. There actually is an organization of these poor saps creebing and moaning about how they have had to go through life with only a threeskin.
Malcontents are always among us. Some people would complain if they were being hanged with a new rope.

Oh So! was exactly what a letter column should be — an interactive forum where like-minded folks could question, opine, and argue about shared interests, but a forum governed by a focused editor who wasn’t afraid to express his or her own opinion with eloquence and panache. Gee, sounds a lot like a blog!
