It’s from Imus and has an actor portraying General George S. Patton talking about what I like to call “The Reset Option”. While I’m sure it is meant in jest/mockery, I don’t care. I’m tired of messing around. We’ve got a Republic to save from itself and don’t have time to be creating democracies out of totalitiarian/theistic regimes, no matter how necessary. “Reset” those who want us dead and let them try to be civil this time.
And since our good man Rivrdog has brought up the subject of his Oath of Enlistment, I think I can safely say that he’d prolly volunteer to zip up one of his old flightsuits for the above mentioned job.
I WOULD, INDEED! Slight problem: they’ve completely changed out the bombardier’s electronics suite in the B52H, so there would be some school involved. I do have an advantage over a newbie though: I can STILL remember all the dire warnings and Emergency Procedures we used to have to commit to memory (and probably still do).
