The Big Props Post

First, the personal props:

Big Props go to RNS Ether-Deity Craig at MTPolitics for telling me where I could find the info that would let me back into the FTP server where The Soundboard Files are stored. Those of y’all who didn’t stop by yesterday can scroll down to see what you missed.

Big Props also go to RNS commenter, Freddy Boom-Boom, for telling me how to make the hard drive from the previous RNS Blogstation funtional once again. Btw, while the one I bought isn’t on this list, these things kick ass.

Now for the national props:

Congrats and proper respect goes out to the Indianapolis Colts for winning The Superbowl and the Chicago Bears for showing up to play 10 minutes or so of offense.

I was talking with folks more knowledgable than I about football before the game, wondering why the premier state-of-the-art football stadium in Seattle, Qwest Field (that my tax dollars are paying for) hasn’t been called up for Superbowl duty. Their answer was that the ‘weather’ in Seattle isn’t reliable enough. Basically, the NFL is too afraid it will rain on their parade, so they only hold Superbowls in domes and in staduims in the southern portion of the country.

Well screw the NFL. They went to Miami and got a soggy game while us folks in Seattle/Tacoma area were enjoying 50 degrees and mildly overcast skies.

“(or a link of some sort).” Say it ain’t so, Phil. Link-whoring mean the next thing you’ll do is look at your site-meter….

(Ahem) that’s not why we’re here!

I’m actually just mocking the NFL there, RD.
