I don’t like this one bit. It seems like “training” to me.

School district finds unique way to charge students for lunch

The Bethel School District says it plans to expand a “fingerprint” system for school lunches.

The district right now has a pilot program at Centennial Elementary in Graham.

The District says its communication with parents wasn’t perfect this time. They promise community meetings and a chance for parents to say “no”.

But they want people to know this is not really fingerprinting, it is a lunch identification program that doesn’t store any information which could be used for identification purposes.

The scanning of biometrics by any government agency creeps me out. But when they start accustomizing children to it, that sends up so many red flags that my skin begins crawling.
