I’m sure you all have very good reasons for living there, though for the life of me, I cannot figure out what they are (WA is bad enough as it is).
Here is an excerpt of an email from former CA Governor, and soon to be CA AG, Jerry Brown:
Two matters of immediate concern will be to strengthen and focus the Department’s law enforcement capacity and to implement–in a practical and effective way–California’s global warming legislation. Some of you may have noticed my wife Anne accompanying me as I have made the rounds of the various offices. I find her advice pretty invaluable and very practical. She had the stressful and rather harrowing job of running my statewide campaign. Prior to that, Anne worked in private practice before serving as General Counsel and then Chief Administrative Officer at the Gap.
Great! So the guy doesn’t think that illegal immigration or gangs are the biggest problem within his jurisdiction. Nope, in his mind, it is CO2.
Be very careful, because that means you breathing is a problem to him.
And no, I’m not forgetting that what happens in CA makes it’s way to my state within 5 years 90% of the time.
