Kevin Kelly’s StreetUseBlog posts about the UK’s “National Knife Amnesty” program where the home office called for it’s citizenry to turn in their hand-held edged weaponry.
Almost 1500 items have been turned in, and StreetUse has pics of some very nasty looking homemade items that Britons were using to protect their homes.
The key word in that sentence was “were”. They are now in the hands of the constabulary and the Britons are even further disarmed.
That noise you hear is the criminal element in Britain laughing their asses off. Their prey has declawed themselves. Again.
