$20 says he votes Democrat

The Market at Work

For nearly 20 years — ever since Pete Costello was 8 — his mother has collected disability benefits on his behalf. In meetings with Social Security officials and psychologists, he appeared mentally retarded and unable to communicate. His mother insisted he couldn’t read or write, shower, take care of himself or drive a car.

But now prosecutors say it was all a huge fraud, and they have video of Costello contesting a traffic ticket to prove it.

When you give something away, like taxpayer dollars, more people will want it. Just like free healthcare, free food, and free transportation.

I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but I’ll keep saying this until it finally sinks into the heads of those who would hand the government more control.

Yeah, I know, I’ll be talking until I’m blue in the face (or in the blogging sense, red in the fingers).

  1. Steve says:

This guy may win the Seagull** of the year award.

(**Seagulls at a populated beach are my example of nannystate- the more people feed them, the more dependent they get till they stop fishing, and then after they’re fed bread, etc by well-intentioned beachgoers visiting, they sh*t all over everything)
