The Commonwealth of Masschusettes is attempting to ban BB guns.
You might think that Massachusetts can’t become any more anti-gun.
Well, think again. Now there’s a proposal to ban BB guns in Massachusetts. Complete with a BB gun amnesty period. And a BB gun buyback program.
Millions of kids have grown up with BB and pellet guns. I don’t know of any that were turned into criminals by their Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.
But that doesn’t matter to the politicians in Massachusetts. They think BB guns are bad, and they want them outlawed.
In fact, these politicians not only plan to ban BB guns in Massachusetts, they’re sending letters to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island to ask those states to do the same.Â
In the words of one of these anti-gun politicians, their goal is to make “New England an area free of pellet guns and BB guns.”
Their next target after BB guns?
Cardboard cutouts.
Phil, mASS gun banning is really a matter of state’s rights. Let them do it. At some point, they will issue their umpteenth hundredth gun law, and a large company will suddenly realize that the government there is a little too intrusive to do business in the state any longer.
Then the exodus starts.
Then they come to their senses.
In the meanwhile, stay away from there. No tourism, no personal dealings with any MA companies.
Just say no to gun-grabbing states.
Kinda hard to believe Massachussets was once the home of American liberty & freedom, huh?
Next thing you know, they’ll ban children from making gun signs with their hands and yelling “bang!”
Rivrdog, I like your idea, but unfortunately many mass-holes move elsewhere and take their stupid ideas with them. As do New Yorkers, Californians, etc.
Now Pennsylvania’s gun-friendliness is threatened by such folks as Mike Bloomberg (R???) coming to Philadelphia blaming PA’s relative ease of gun purchases for NY’s problems.
IIRC, a few years back they went after squirt guns in Massachussetts.
And yes, about that same time some bureaucrat (a teacher, I think) went off on a rant about kids pointing their fingers and yelling “bang!”
