D’ya like ballistic terminal performance stats?

Presented in a nicely done graphic format?

Check out this site. Every cartridge tested has a diagram showing bullet path and penetration in inches through jugs-of-water (this bullet went through two jugs! This one went through three!) and a photo of the recovered slug.

I’ve not got a horse in the interminable (ha ha) brouhaha about terminal wound ballistics (Fackler vs. Sanow? Faster vs. bigger? etc.), so if this site should turn out to be pushing one side’s “agenda” or another, I apologize in advance — it’s not apparent to me.

In any event, this seems like interesting data, well presented and worth a look.

Does my browser NOT load this correctly? It seems the only rifle caliber there is .308.

Maybe it was too hard for the tester to run rifle round tests, but those would have been much more useful.

Hmm. I see .223 and .308. There are also some links to other folks’ tests of .223.
