Book Review

Not from me, though I am currently thoroughly enthralled with Boston T. Party’s Gun Bible.

No, this one is by the Grouchy Old Cripple, who received a copy of “How the Left Was Won” by Richard Mgrdechian a while back and wants to tell you about it.

This book is about the various methods the Left employs to try and transform society into their vision of a socialist utopia.

Before reading this book, it would help to know sumpin’ about Antonio Gramschi. Scroll down until you come to the part about him. What is important to know about Gramschi is that he felt that a violent Marxist/Leninist revolution would fail. Instead he advocated a gradual revolution involving infiltration and subversion of institutions.

C.Gradual revolution: infiltrate, Co-opt, Subvert

Infiltrate the State: elective & appointed office; judgeships

Infiltrate the military: enlist & subvert from within

Infiltrate justice: undermine and discredit state constitutions

Infiltrate education: professors & administrators

Infiltrate & discredit religion: scoundrels as clergymen

Register, then license, then confiscate all privately held weapons

D.Form or infiltrate international organizations to promote goals such as “global understanding,” “economic development,” “transfer of resources”

Holy crap! Does this stuff sound familiar or what?

What Mgrdechian does in this book, is show us many of the methods that liberals use to follow Gramschi’s handbook.

Yep, this one goes to the top of my Christmas List

How do you pronounce that author’s name?

On a more serious note, when Mr. M’s predictions all come true, it is we who will have to conduct the violent revolution….

  2. DirtCrashr says:

The technique works very well with all the utopian useful idiots and do-gooders who act to inflate their moral vanity at the expense of the reality they inhabit but do not recognize…

If I may ask, have there been any surprises for you regarding some of Boston’s choices, especially in the MBR category?
