You have got to listen to this radio ad from GOP candidate Bob Corker, and this is why: The loony left, starting, I believe at the TPM Cafe, where the sound file resides at, is charging that the drums in the background, the ones you can barely hear, are “Jungle Drums”!
Corker is white. His opponent, Dem candidate Harold Ford, Jr. is black.
I listened to the ad, twice, because I couldn’t quite hear them the first time, and if those are “Jungle Drums”, then I’m Tito Puente.
LGF has it right, they’re tympani drums, and if I had to guess what to compare them to, I’d have to say an intro (while the credits are rolling) to a late-80’s action flick like “Navy Seals” or something. Something real dramatic where a helecoptor is flying over the water at dusk/dawn kind of thing.
It just goes to show just how detached from both the black populace they claim to represent and to reality the Dems are.
