Just because they have a Congressman harrassing 16 year old boys, the new enemy combatant treatment bill and Karl Rove to bitch about doesn’t mean that leftists are satisified.

When did Mexico become enemy territory? We haven’t had a war with them in, oh, ages. Why does this sound to me like a movie about East Germany during the Cold War? Why does the collective direction of all this keep sounding to people like a Germany of another era? When do they put the other fence up north, to keep us in? Is Hu Jintao going to be able to make a name for himself someday by making a speech in Mexico, in front of our fence, saying, ‘Mr/s. President, tear down this wall?”
What with all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth going on about their supposed loss of rights, I guess the only way left for them to play this issue is to scream that Bush is trying to keep US citizens in America instead of terrorists and criminals out.
