Can’t trust that day.
I have returned to the Mighty, Mighty RNS! In one piece, I might add, having fought off the urge to jump ship and live on one of the may islands along the Inside Passage to Alaska.
I see that you all have been rather busy around these parts while I was away, and I like that. Our good man David seems to have kept the place “ship shape”, if I may venture a bad pun at this hour. I’d like to thank him for his effort as well as remind everyone that the quality stuff he posted while I was gone is only part of what he is capable of when his boss gives him a few extra minutes.
There will be no “The Dumbest Thing I’ve Read All Day” post today, nor will I be posting a “Quote of the Day” either. There are very good reasons for this: First off, I haven’t even ventured into my left-wing blog roll since I’ve returned, wanting to keep my good spirits up over this weekend. Secondly, while I have been reading quotable material, I haven’t organized it yet.
I’m going to slide back into form over the week as I try and remember what this thing called “Work” is all about and where I have to go to find my workspace. There’ll be extra music posts this week for you to watch out for and pics galore in the posts below.
I’ll also have a picture up tomorrow for folks to drool over. It is something I picked up on my trip, if you wanted a hint.
So enjoy the posts below. We’re gathering steam and taking this barge to cruisng speed.
Yo-ho, me hearties, yo-ho.
“yo-ho, me hearties?”
Sounds like you escaped the ship with a bottle or two of Ship’s Rum in your seabag.
Yep, the Inside Passage is beautiful. Only reason I didn’t do it this year in my yacht was the price of fuel.
