Just as strong as we could be…

US News and World Report cites an “insider” memo touting GOP voters’ overwhelming willingness and intent to “jam the November polls to return their team to Congress.”

Like a rock, indeed. Click the link to read the article and the memo.

Here’s a good sign that the big GOP operators are leaving no stone unturned to keep the majority in the Fall: in the last two weeks, I got hit up on the phone for money by both Duf Sundheim’s folks and the NRCC — and despite being a loyal GOP member since law school, I haven’t had a phone solicitation from my party before. Not once in the last ten years!

Yes, I contributed. I appreciated that they were careful not to call during the dinner hour.

I definitely am not happy with all the results of the GOP led WH and Congress. But my dissatisfaction with them doesn’t mean I’d vote for Nanny-Staters, Losers, and Gun Grabbers. I vote, I vote a lot, and short of a retrotarian candidate, I’m voting GOP.

I don’t know ANYBODY who’s not unhappy with SOMETHING the GOP’s done since they got into the majority. But yeah, the alternative’s so awful that I’d hope everybody holds their noses and votes to keep Ms. Pelosi out of the Speaker’s chair.
