That was the question that arrived at my villa door on Thursday.
It appears that my being here on my lovely little getaway island has reached the populaces on other lovely little getaway islands. The Kid gets a couple days off and I have to go back to work. Go figure. I’m going to have to talk to him about that.
I’ve turned away messengers in the past, but this seemed like a true emergency that, if I were to ignore it, would violate my Heineycratic Oath.
Sadly, there wasn’t a boat available to charter for the journey, but no matter, I wanted to meet up again with Miss Brandy, the island’s most skilled bush pilot.
There has not been a time when Miss Brandy was unable to take her favorite professor where he wanted to go.
