So the guys who drive the trucks where I work got finished their review of the proposed contract.
As the title of this post suggests, they’re not happy.
I’ve seen it, and if I was them, I’d be ecstatic.
They like the numbers, but ‘The Language’ is now the issue. Something about senority vs. employee standing or some such nonsense.
So it was another vote for an extension to ‘work out the language’. Thankfully, the next vote isn’t until I get back from vacation.
As for the shindig afterwards, the garlic roast beef was delicious. There was also a very spicy pork dish that I made sure to bring home a sample of.
