Pre-Soundboard Soundcheck

Just a quick question before the music tomorrow:

How many folks out there have subwoofers hooked up to your internets viewing system?

I ask this because I’m wanting to throw something dynamic at y’all tomorrow, but if most of you won’t be able to enjoy it, I may wait on it.

I’d be interested to know what you have (make, model and wattage, if care to get that specific) or how you have it hooked up. I’m currently running a customized 5.1 Dolby package that handles what I’m wanting to post pretty well.

Anyway, let me know so I can get to loading one of the possible choices up as soon as I get home tomorrow morning.

See you then!

    Old crappy Labtec speakers.

    No woofer or sub-woofer…

    I guess I’m just not a computer audiophile…

I’ve got yer basic Creative Audio PCI card and Harmon Kardon computer speakers, and they’ll vibrate the desk if I crank the bass, but if I want to really hear a lot of bass I can just plug a good pair of headphones into the computer itself, card or no card. Seems to work just as well.
