Next, I would like to let everyone know that I will be taking a vacation, from both work and blogging, here in a couple weeks. But fear not, as I have rounded up a couple of very competent folks who will be manning the master controls of BlogStation RNS in my absence, which leads me to the introduction.
I would like to introduce a fella I met and shot with at Boomershoot 2005. You might know him from his comments here at RNS; I’d like you all to meet David (next post down). Besides being a legal eagle from the San Francisco bay area, David is also a good shooter with a fine taste for rifles and is an all around smashing bloke who I am sure will entertain and inform.
Give him a warm welcome while he takes a couple weeks of ‘On Deck’ time to ready himself for the full-time spot here.
The second fill-in blogger shall remain unnamed until the ‘Time of the Great Kid Ghosting’ gets a little closer and they get some free time. But I think you’ll be quite amazed at the talent I’ve got lined up.
The last announcement is that I subconsciously decided that sleep was much more beneficial than going to the range to shoot the latest e-Postal Match target yesterday and apparently shut my alarm off without getting up. So we’ll have to wait until next weekend to punch that paper.
Oh, one more announcement: I have received final clearance from The Control Tower (read:the Analog Wife) to import moderate quantities of explosives into the house (read: reloading components). I will be researching benches and equipment this week and start my purchasing next weekend.
