Yesterday I liked to the story about the NRA pulling their 2007 National Conference out of Columbus, Ohio.
Today comes the news that they are looking at Portland, Oregon as a location for it.
Yeah, right! Like the city that abruptly yanked its police officers out of the Joint Terrorism Task Force would let the arch nemesis of the Brady Bunch come to their town.
C’mon NRA, take it somewhere that deserves your money, like Montana.
While the wife reminds me that the state capital, Helena, wouldn’t be able to handle something that large, I’m sure that Missoula could and I’m also sure that the state could use the $15 million the conference would leave in its wake.
