Good News / Bad News

First the bad, just to get it out of the way:

Boomershoot founder and coordinator was recently fired after an “investigation of the Boomershoot website and then his blog.

No matter what I may have against any person in the blogosphere, all the way down to the looniest left wing nut job, I would not wish this upon them or even think of contacting their employer.

That is no hollow statement. Just before Boomershoot I had to self ban myself from a local left wing blog after the guy threatened to contact my employer if I did not stop being the lone voice of opposition at his site.

Joe is currently interviewing for new employment. If you know of an open position in the Pac NW area, please contact him to see if he would be interested.

On the good news side, Joe has a nephew in Iraq, commanding Blue Platoon, C Company, 3-69 Armored Battalion of the 1st Brigade, 42nd Infantry Division in Samarra, Iraq and was featured in an SF Chronicle article that you can read here.

Good luck to Joe and more good luck to his nephew, Lt. Jason Scott.

Joe Huffman must be worried, because he seems to have closed his blog. I get server-error messages when I try the link, or it doesn’t open anything at all.

I wonder if anyone has pointed out to the idiot who fired him that he has also just pissed off at least 8 dozen of the country’s best long-range marksmen.

My suggestion to said chump would be to never leave a concrete building unless he could clear the entire area by 700 meters.

Well now, where’s the ACLU on this one?

Oh yeah, I forgot, free speach is for the Leftist bastards only.
