In this WaPo article, Jonathon Weisman writes on and on about how bad the numbers are for Bush’s ‘Private Accounts for Socail Security’ plan.
You know that plan, the one doesn’t exist anywhere on paper yet?
But if you look a little earlier in the day at the WaPo, you’ll find this article that says everything Weisman is saying, but also contains this tidbit of information,
But the public also overwhelmingly supports – by a margin of 56% – 41% – “a plan in which people who chose to could invest some of their Social Security contributions in the stock market”.
I wonder why Little Johnny would have left that part out? Could it be that he only wanted to expound the BAD opinions of Bush’s idea?
Why, I think that may be exactly the reason!
