“Governor Romney says that I make excuses for terrorism… that I hang our allies out to dry… that America, and the world, are more dangerous since I have become President.”
Obama then called for a staffer to lead a hooded individual onto the stage. “What I have here is a detainee from Guantanamo Bay. I wonder what Governor Romney will have to say about this!” Obama then pulled what appeared to be a .38 snub-nosed revolver from his jacket pocket, and shot the detainee in the head. Standing over the corpse, Obama then yelled to the crowd, “Who’s soft on terrorism, now, New Hampshire?”

Guess what today is?

Possibly the best day for the nation since November 4th, 1980.

I live in Washington, so I can’t actually vote today because we’re only allowed to mail-in our ballots. Sure, there are a sparse few locations throughout the state where you can actually vote in person, but they really don’t encourage that anywhere that I’ve seen.

So I put my ballot in the ballot drop-box outside the Pierce County elections center on Friday. I didn’t put it in the mail. I didn’t put it in some random ballot drop-box placed somewhere in the hinterlands. I’ve looked into the County website and got proof that they have received my ballot. Unfortunately, I have no way to know if they have actually counted my votes, mind you, because if there is on thing the state government learned in 2004 it is that it is not who votes, but who counts the votes.

So I hoping my ballot looks like the ones in the picture at the top of this article right about now and that my vote for Mr. Gary Johnson and company gets counted. There is not a chance in hell that Romney is going to win Washington, so I’m hoping that the Libertarian Party can get enough votes to get some footing in the next election.

I’m going to be running around today and getting home by 1630 to watch the beginning of the returns. It’s tacos and beers night around these parts and I’m hoping to enjoy every minute of it.

And that is because I’m a loving and caring individual and I know and you know that it has been a long four years for the professional protesters, what with a Democrat in office and all.

I’ve been fascinated by the .284 Winchester for the last several days, and scored a bonus when I stumbled across Wikipedia’s very useful entry on cartridges using 7mm-caliber bullets. The info is well-presented and sortable, and includes the “.30”-calibers like .308, etc., because they’re 7.xx-mm, of course.

IOKIYAD

It’s been a week since Hurricane Sandy and some parts of NYC still have no power, or food, or even water.

Sounds kind of like NOLA after Hurricane Katrina. But, according to the media, unlike during Katrina, it is in no way the fault of The Lightbringer. And in reality, it really isn’t. Just like the problems facing the responders during Katrina were in no way the fault of Bush. However, it has been fun to point out the change in the media’s attitude to Obama supporters.

But I’m done having fun after seeing this video.

Bloomberg goes out to Rockaway for a photo op and gets confronted by some locals wondering why they haven’t seen any power crews, or any food/water distribution trucks come their way. He and his handlers brush them off and at around the 00:30 mark a woman rushes up to ask “When are we gonna get some fucking help?”. After she and other residents start speaking about the reality of their current lives, he turns, walks away and smirks while his handlers physically take the residents away from Bloomberg and the media.

And yet the story line is that this is still that Romney would cut FEMA and that Bloomberg and the Democrats are moving heaven and Earth to get people free shit.

Of course, they leave out that these people should have stocked up on this free shit months and/or years ago.

Obama says voting is the best revenge. Revenge for what?

Given his target audience, I think the message is clear. Whether students, teachers, union hacks or the 47%, Obama’s supporters are all pissed at the injustice of their own lives.

Thus, even if your life is miserable, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish or short, you can at least get revenge for it — by voting!
