This is true

In their world of lies.

According to Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), members of the U.S. Navy SEALs have privately told him that they are short on combat arms.

Yep, the U.S. Navy is supposedly short on M4s. Just not enough of them to go around and they’ll be sending these guys out with pointed sticks by next week or something.

I’d suggest that they ask the USMC for a loan since they get to ride on all the boats free of charge and all.

But then again, I’m not sure that I believe these anecdotes, and if they are even remotely true, I’m a practical, solutions based thinker.

I know where people who aren’t either of those things hang out, so I went looking around there and found exactly what I was looking for:

Problem: there’s not enough M-4 carbines to go around.

Solution: Sweaty Sally’s Gun Show and City Center Outdoor Firing Range.

Y’all, I think it’s finally happened. There are more combat weapons on the damn street than in the military.

Alternative Solution: people who already own combat weapons get drafted into the military immediately.

Because Juanita Jean of the hyper-leftist Crooks and Liars blog lives in a fact-free world, she honestly believes that anyone can go to a gun show or a rifle range and find military grade M4s for sale.

The idea that you should only own a firearm if you work for the government doesn’t even phase me anymore from these types. And the idea that there is a “weapon” not made for combat shows just how dumb you have to be to think like her.

“US Navy SEALS running out of equipment, ergo, we need to draft American gun owners into the military.” Similar logic tells us, “we have a dearth of trained doctors, ergo, we need to draft everyone who buys medicine at a drug store to go do brain surgery and cardiac bypasses.” Or “we don’t have enough teachers, so let’s make everyone on unemployment teach K-12 classes.” Cuz, yeah, guns are all the same, and some redneck with a semi-auto could’ve killed OBL just as easily as SEAL Team 6.

I wonder why such stupidity goes unanswered. Is it because it’s ultimately futile (the stupidity will pop up elsewhere, if not on C&L), or is it because C&L deletes informative comments bursting the article’s bubble, or is it because (like me) I don’t want to spend the time signing up to comment.

She should volunteer and be a SEAL.

I’ll even buy her the red rubber ball, and first gallon pail of herring.

Could the SEALs maybe bum some M4’s from the dept. of education? Or the IRS? Or any of the other federal bureaucracies who have no business whatsoever buying firearms with taxpayer funds?

Didn’t Home land insecurity just buy several thousand fully auto M4’s last year. Have the SEALS go get their’s! Would make me feel a lot better!
