One Response to Combat Zippos

I think what I saw the most were variations of “Yea though I walk through the Valley of the shadow of Death I shall fear no evil, for I’m the meanest MoFo in the Valley.” On Okinawa there were lots of wannabe REMFs totin’ those, too. Don’t think I ever saw anybody with a Wolfhounds insignia on a lighter or tattoo who hadn’t earned theirs.
Most popular Zippo overall seemed to be Snoopy on his bullet-riddled dog house and flippin’ off the sky while yellin’ “Curse you Red Baron”.
Today of all days, I won’t pick on any REMF too much ’cause they did wear their country’s uniform.
For a variation on the lighter theme, use Google or Bing to search for Zippo MRF.
