A true “You didn’t build that” policy

Less than two years ago, Barack Obama said this

There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me—because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t—look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own… If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business—you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

Excuses for that statement flew out of the talking heads in an attempt to explain what he “really meant”. But his policies show that all those excuses were lies.

Richard Griffin, the new general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, wants to give unions a veto over a unionized employer’s decision to relocate. If Griffin has his way, and he most assuredly will, some unionized businesses will be pinned in place at the discretion of their unions.

Is your business being legislated or regulated to extinction in one state and want to relocate to a friendlier governmental climate? That is not allowed in the Obamanation.

Well, the progressive left is always saying we should be more like Europe, and this move is particularly French. I recall that a tire company (Goodyear?) was not allowed to close its doors, even though it was loosing money, because it would mean the end of French union jobs. So how long until the American NLB goes full retard French, and legalized the kidnapping of management if the workers don’t like how things are going in a business?
