I may just have to have a range session where I invite y’all locals out to help me go through this. I’ve been “reimaging” The Hun Bastard and I think you all might enjoy the changes. I could probably be persuaded to bring the Israeli Mauser along too.

So far, Merle, it looks to all be 145-150gr ball from only 3-4 manufacturers. I haven’t gone through the entire can, but I have no reason to complain at all.
Since it is in that handy can, why shoot it?
FWIW I don’t go through 308 to fast as I don’t have any autos chambered to that caliber.
That looks like fun, those are great milsurps especially the Hun Bastard! Mine’s a Bengali Gaandu – an Ishapore .308 Mk2A1 made during the 2nd. time we were over there, and about a mile from where I was born. I think I have something that needs blog-pics.
I’ve got an AR based .223 wylde with a 24″ barrel that I just built and need to put a few rounds through. I could also bring an M-1 and an M-4. I was going to go down to Medford Ore this week where they have a great public range, but an illness in the family is keeping me close to home.
AS far as when goes, I’ve got a week off from work until the 23rd. I’m flexible.
