Richard A. Epstein over at The Hoover Institute writes about the difference between strict Libertarians and Classical Liberals. Read it and think on it.
I did and now I have a problem: I am both. When I think through an issue, my first thought is about the ideal, the Libertarian solution, and my second thought is about the practical, the Classical Liberal solution.
So I suppose I have to consider myself “both”.
However, this two minds thing gets really annoying.
And I blame the Republican and Democrat parties for screwing things up so badly that I have to be of two minds.
