My oldest son is one month into a year long deployment to Haiti. It is such a wonderful place, it reminds me of just how lucky we are !!!

And let’s not forget those who support the ones who can’t come home. Some thought needs to be given to those like Bob Hope and the beauties who traveled with him. They all could’ve stayed home where it was comfy but chose instead to visit Germany, Korea, VietNam and lots of lesser known places.
I still can’t read the story of Ann-Margaret at a book signing without havin’ my eyes leak a little bit.
