Hanging on won’t help

The Obama Administration is going to re-re-re-focus on the economy.

The White House is signaling it wants to shift back to the economy after two weeks in which the Syrian crisis has dominated President Obama’s schedule and workload.

Obama will be “focusing” on issues related to the economy in the coming weeks, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday at his daily briefing.

He said the president wants to push forward with economic policies that the White House believes will grow the middle class.

And it is going to look a little something like this

The middle class will be riding on the trailer.

I consider Obama the opposite president. Whatever he focuses on with an eye towards improving actually gets worse. Please don’t look at the economy, Obama. Go distract yourself with some more celebrity visits. You and Dennis Rodman can talk about bulgogi and North Korean relations. Or do some fundraising speeches.

Out of the frying pan into the fire. I just saw a poll saying only about a third of voters trust him to lead the economy, but hey, I guess that’s way better than the two percent that trusted him to lead us into war.

Besides, the Big Lie technique requires constant reinforcement and we haven’t heard those Big Lies for three weeks now.

Hey, if he’s not focusing laser like, maybe it won’t hurt as much. /sarc
