If you visited the AoSHQ last week you will know about how Slate has seemingly been trolling their readership with really messed up article topics along the lines of “If you send your child to private school, you’re evil” and “the world would be a better place if everyone gave up their private vehicles”, etc..
So, when The Wife told me of their article on the gender wage gap lie, I figured it for more of the same (but I had her send it to me anyway).
Not only is it honest, though not as brutally so as it should be, but it has multiple linked sources. Yes, the glitterati of the commenting minions went apeshit, refusing to argue the facts and instead bring up “the patriarchy” and tripe such as “if men would learn to breastfeed, then there would be a chance at equality.”
What is the world coming to? Next thing you know, Slate will be pointing out hypocritical liberals who love it when states flout federal marijuana laws but talk about blood running in the streets whenever anyone even thinks of mentioning individual states telling the feds to piss off on firearms laws.
Oh wait, they just did.
It might take me a bit to figure out how I “feel” about this change.
